Types of Magnecraft Relays and Their Uses

Magnecraft is a brand from the Schneider Electric Company, which manufactures electro-mechanical, hybrid and Solid State relays and sockets. These Magnecraft relays can be used in industrial as well as for general purposes. This is one brand that stands out from the rest because of the innovative products that it has to offer for its consumers. Most of these products are for industrial applications and therefore have a socket or DIN rail compatibility to them.

Magnecraft solid state relays are versatile and contain several different uses. Also, they are highly reliable and operate quietly. They can easily go on to replace electromagnetic relays and can operate large scale with just a single control. They can also go on to increase the electronic circuits in several different ways.

Magnecraft relays also occupy very limited space, as they are far smaller than other conventional relays. Another additional feature of these relays is that they are great at conserving power. On the other hand, electromagnetic relays use coils to get heated up which wastes a lot of power in the offing. This is not the case with these relays as they utilize advanced technology that enables them to consume less power and prevents them from heating up too quickly. Another advantage of Magnecraft relays over others is that they are sturdy and possess a longer lifespan, and are so durable that there is typically never any need for repairs.

The reduced arcing on these relays ensures that they never arc even at the most highest of voltages. If you need speed in the most critical operations, then these relay switches will provide that. All of these features make them far more reliable and a better choice than the electromagnetic relays.

The other kinds of relays manufactured by Magnecraft are Time Delay relays and Sensor Relays, which are not only affordable but are able to control circuits. They offer several unique functions that are not found in the others.

The Plug In relays and Power relays have the most compatible means and have multiple accessories and sockets to them. Latching relays and Sequencing Relays are great energy conservers and do not get affected by voltage fluctuations. Printed Circuit Board relays come in compact packages and is best for low-level switching applications.
